The chairman of under-age hurling in Clare says its vital that clubs keep fielding teams in 2012.

Martin Reynolds was speaking following the Bord na Og Iomaint AGM held in Ennis which saw a motion passed that will allow teams struggling for numbers play 11,13 or 15 a side in C and D grades from U14 to minor
The meeting also heard how the board made a profit of 6,000 euro in 2011.
