University of Limerick begin the defence of their Fitzgibbon Cup title this afternoon.

2013 All Ireland winner Cathal McInerney captains the side hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow Clare man David McInerney who led them to glory last year, while Clare legend Brian Lohan is manager once more.
Their first challenge comes with a trip to face DIT, and the Cratloe man says they don't feel any extra pressure as champions.
There'll be plenty Clare interest in LIT's opener too as Davy Fitzgerald will hope to guide them to victory, with the Limerick side travelling to take on Maynooth this evening at 7pm.
