Ben Cunningham’s late goal eventually settled a tight contest as Cork left Cusack Park with a 1-24 to 0-22 victory in what was Clare’s last game of the group stages.

The Banner’s fate will now be decided by other results, with Terence Fahy’s side still in a strong position to book a semi-final spot.
