The first championship of 2013 gets underway this evening with the beginning of the County u21 series.
The C championship meeting of Tubber and Scariff Ogonnelloe is the first match in a weekend of 11 games in total.
The highlight is set to be a repeat of the 2012 A decider between Ballyea and Kilmaley on Saturday in Ruan
The race for county u21 hurling honours for 2013 begins this evening in Sixmilebridge as Tubber take on Scariff Ogonnelloe under lights in
O’Garney Park at 8.30.
The A championship gets underway on Saturday afternoon with a local derby in Tulla as Newmarket take on 2011 winners Sixmilebridge at Midday
2011 winners Eire Og meet Clonlara at the same time in Sixmilebridge while Clooney Quin take on Inagh Kilnamona also at 12 in Clarecastle.
The marquee game of the weekend is set to be in Ruan at 12-30 as Kilmaley take Champions Ballyea in a repeat of the county final from last season that was only decided after a replay.
The B championship also gets underway on Saturday as Cratloe play Clarecastle and Smith O’Briens meet Crusheen while there are four games scheduled for Sunday .
