The Clare’s Ladies Footballers were in action against Tyrone in Round 6 of Division 2 of the National Ladies Football league.
James Murrihy’s side made the trip North to face Tyrone in the hopes of securing a win to avoid a potential relegation battle.

They were two points above bottom placed Sligo who they beat in the opening round – their only win in the competition.
Tyrone proved the better of the Banner today though and the final result was Tyrone 6-9, Clare 2-9.
Clare’s next game is next Saturday, where they’re at home to Tipperary.
