Liam O’Connor Cup: Clare 2-14 – Limerick 0-05

The Clare U20’s have maintained their perfect start to the Liam O’Connor Cup following victory over Limerick in Naomh Mhuire Pairc, Quilty this afternoon.

Netminder, Thomas Collins opened the scoring on the eleventh minute mark in what was a slow opening period in Quilty with Paul Frawley, James Curran, Conor Meaney and Brian McNamarra following up to send Clare into halftime with a 0-07 to 0-03 advantage.

However the Banner men would seize the initiative on the restart with goals from Paul Curran and Liam Culligan ensuring the win for Clare on a full time score of 2-14 to 0-05.

Michael Neylon’s charges will now look ahead to a trip to Dr.Morris Park on the 4th of March where they will face Tipperary.
