Two More All-Ireland Titles For Clare Handball

The success continues for Clare Handball this morning in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan with their fourth and fifth All-Ireland titles of the weekend.

Aoife Dooley and Jennifer Nicolas were crowned under 15 doubles champions after a straight sets win over Galway duo Amanda Ni Bhradaigh and Maeve Ni Chualain.

And Chloe Philpott and Leagh Minogue added the under 16 silverware against another Galway team of Eadaoin Nic Dhonnacha and Skylyn Ni Mhaille in two sets.

O’Callaghan’s Mills Eimear Murphy will face Roscommon’s Caragh Kennedy in the under 15 singles final.

Yesterday, Colin Corbett won the intermediate crown while Fergal Coughlan Jr and Caitriona Millane were men’s and ladies doubles champions respectively.

But there was no luck for Mark Rodgers or Diarmaid Nash who went down in the minor and singles finals.
