Two Clare Players Listed As Close Contacts Of Positive Wexford Covid-19 Cases Following Cusack Park Clash

Two members of the Clare senior hurling panel have been identified as close contacts of positive Covid-19 cases arising from last weeks National League clash with Wexford.

It emerged this week that two members of Davy Fitzgerald’s panel tested positive for the virus, with the two Clare players being informed by the HSE that they had been listed as close contacts by the Wexford camp.

It is understood that both players have been tested this week, and are isolating as they await the results.
