In handball : there are two Clare men involved in All Ireland finals this weekend
Tulla’s Cathal Hannon plays the Junior Singles final against Monaghan man Terry Kiernan in Curraghboy on Sunday and On Saturday, Shannon man John Cawley will be in action in the Golden Masters B Singles final against Galway’s Denis Phelan
On the under-age front meanwhile, Clare’s Munster Juvenile champions play their All-Ireland semi-finals this weekend in Clarecastle.
On Saturday in the girls U14 doubles Clodagh Nash and Doireann Murphy play Wexford while Cathair Agnew and Jake Kearney are in Boys u15 doubles action against Kilkenny.
Colin Corbett plays JJ English of Kilkenny in the Boys u16 singles and Natasha Coughlan and Michelle Nihill also play Kilkenny in their Girls U16 doubles match.
