St Joseph’s Tulla are hoping to become the fifth Clare school to reach the final of the premier colleges hurling competition in the province.
The East Clare outfit made history for their school by reaching a first semi-final this year, where De La Salle of Waterford provide the opposition on Saturday in Mallow.
St Flannans, Rice College, St Caimins and Shannon Comprehensive all reached the decider in the past, with St Flannan’s overcoming St Joseph’s en route to their 2020 title.
St Joseph’s coach Tomás Kelly says that loss to their fellow Clare side provided motivation to push on to the next level.
Throw in on Saturday in Mallow is at 1pm with live commentary on Clare FM in association with Donlons Supervalu Tulla
