Clare boss Colm Collins has been handed a huge boost ahead of Saturday's qualifier clash with Longford as David Tubriday has been passed fit to take his place on the starting 15.

The Doonbeg man has recovered from a groin injury that has seen him miss large parts of this years campaign, and makes his seasonal bow in the championship on Saturday.

Tubridy's inclusion at full forward is the only change from the side that lost to Cork with Cooraclare's Rory Donnelly dropping out of the matchday panel.

In a further boost, Enda Coughlan and Shane McGrath are named in the matchday 26 after both recovered from knee injuries.

The team in full is Joe Hayes in goal, behind a full back line of Ciaran Russell, Kevin Harnett and Martin McMahon.

Gordon Kelly is at centre back with Shane Hickey and Dean Ryan either side of him.

Captain Gary Brennan and Cathal O'Connor continue their partnership at midfield.

Jamie Malone lines out at centre forward with Sean Collins and Keelan Sexton on the wings.

David Tubridy is at the edge of the square, with Eoin Cleary and Pat Burke in the corners.
