Clare Jockey Derek O’Connor is looking forward to the crowning glory of what he’s described as a "great year" for him, despite missing Cheltenham in March due to a broken leg.
The 29 year old Tubber man is heading for his ninth successive Point to Point Champion Jockey title as the season comes to an end this weekend with racing at Kinsale and Ballingarry.
