One of the men who captained Clare to U21 All Ireland Hurling glory has paid tribute to departing joint manager Gerry O'Connor.
It follows yesterdays news that O'Connor is leaving the partnership with Donal Moloney that saw three All Ireland and Munster U21 titles in a row for Clare, along with successive Munster Minor titles.
O'Connor confirmed to Clare FM that he would no longer be in a position to continue in the role due to work commitments, while selector Jimmy Browne and coach Paul Kinnerk will also not be continuing in 2015.
Donal Moloney remains on as manager, with his backroom team to be confirmed.
Ballyea's Paul Flanagan, who lifted the Cross of Cashel in 2013, said it was a privilage to play under O'Connor.
