The manager of the Clare minors has paid tribute to his players’ spirit after they secured the county’s first Minor B All Ireland title in 22 years yesterday.
Clare ran out 7 point winners over Roscommon in Birr, with a strong final quarter proving crucial.
Orla Devitt (Eire Og), Nikki Kaiser (Newmarket-on-Fergus), Laura Egan (Kilmihil) and Aoife O’Gorman (Cooraclare) all netted for Clare in the 4-16 to 3-12 win
