Trappatoni to announce Ireland Squad

All eyes will be on the Aviva Stadium today… as Giovanni Trapattoni names his Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming friendly against Bosnia and European Championships.

Sunderland’s James McClane is likely to be included.

The Ireland boss gave the midfielder a 90 to 99% chance of making the squad.

It’s being reported that McClane will go in place of a senior player who is unable to travel for personal reasons.
