Trap signs up for another two years

The F.A.I has confirmed that Giovanni Trapatonni has signed a new deal to keep him in charge of the Republic of Ireland for another two years.

The deal also keeps his assistant Marco Tardelli on board and once again includes a financial contribution from business man Denis O’Brien who is paying part of the Italians salary.

It’s been confirmed that management have taken a pay cut.

Trap and his team will find out this Friday evening who their side will face in next summers European Championships when the draw is made in Kiev.
