Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has admitted that he considered starting with Wes Hoolahan for tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier against Austria.

Trap has made two changes from last Friday’s draw against Sweden, but eventually chose Conor Sammon to partner Shane Long in the Irish attack.
The other change will sees Glen Whelan start ahead of Paul Green in midfield.
Trap has included Marc Wilson at full-back but has revealed that the Stoke defender is currently struggling with a groin injury and Stephen Kelly has been placed on stand-by to come into the team if necessary.
