Tones Braced For Ballyea Battle In Clare SHC Opener

Wolfe Tones boss James Carrig says they will be introducing fresh faces to their side for this weekends Clare Senior Hurling Championship opener.

The Shannon outfit begin the campaign against reigning Clare and Munster champions Ballyea in Cusack Park on Sunday, as they look to improve on last years showing which saw them reach the last eight.

County panellist Ben O’Gorman will miss out for Wolfe Tones as he serves a one match suspension, while Gary O’Connell is not part of the set up for 2017.
