Toner and Wilson drafted in for O’Connell and Ferris

Leinster’s Devin Toner and Ulster’s Roger Wilson have been called into the Ireland camp ahead of Saturday’s non-cap international against Fiji.

The pair have been added to the squad after Paul O’Connell and Stephen Ferris were both ruled-out for the rest of the November International Series.

O’Connell has returned to Munster to focus on his recovery from a back problem, while Ferris is struggling to overcome an ankle ligament strain.

Following last weekend’s defeat , Eoin Reddan is also a doubt for this week’s match in Limerick after picking-up an ankle injury, but Cian Healy, Donnacha Ryan and Jonathan Sexton have been given the all-clear after picking-up some knocks and bruises.

The Irish attack showed a lack of cutting edge during last Saturday’s defeat to South Africa and former Ireland winger Shane Horgan believes that the side were missing the cutting edge of some of their star names.
