Tommy Walsh has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling.

The Tullaroan wing-back has been a member of the Kilkenny panel since 2002.
During his time with the Cats, Walsh won 9 All Ireland Senior Hurling titles, and for 9 consecutive years between 2003 and 2011 was named on the Hurling All Star team of the year.
