Clare’s Aidan McCarthy is in the running to be named as the Young Hurler of the Year.
The Inagh-Kilnamona clubman is the first Clare player to be nominated for the award since Tony Kelly won the accolade in 2013.

Meanwhile Kelly is among three Clare players nominated for All Star awards for their performances this year.
The Ballyea man is shortlisted alongside Rory Hayes and Cathal Malone.
