There was plenty of action in today’s round two of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship.

First off at 2pm Feakle faced Clooney/Quin in Shannon. After a draw sent them to extra time it was Clooney/Quin who were the eventual winners on a 2-22 to 2-14 scoreline.

At 2.30 Clarecastle met Tulla in Sixmilebridge. Clarecastle will join Feakle in the relegation battle after losing that game, on a 1-13 to 12 point score.

In the winners round, St Joseph’s faced Newmarket, also in Sixmilebridge, at 4pm which saw the Blues victorious on a 1-18 to 14 point scoreline.

The final two games were a double header in Cusack Park.

Cratloe emerged victorious in their battle against Crusheen 2-19 to 2-11, while 2015 and 2016 Champions Sixmilebridge and Ballyea were the last game of the evening, the Bridge winning that one on a 1-22 to 0-19 score.
