Tee Times Announced For Opening Rounds Of Irish Open

The tee times for the first round of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open has been released.

Italian Nino Bertasio, Australia’s Wade Ormsby and David Law from Scotland will begin proceedings in Lahinch on Thursday morning at 6.45am.

Darren Clarke will be out with Thomas Bjorn and Stephen Gallacher at 8.10am; while Graeme McDowell joins Martin Kaymer and Thorbjorn Olesen on the first tee 20 minutes later.

2009 champion Shane Lowry is paired with current title holder Russell Knox and England’s Tommy Fleetwood at 8.40pm; and three-time major winner Padraig Harrington doesn’t start until 1.10pm when he joins Tyrell Hatton and Ian Poulter.

Clare senior hurler Shane O’Donnell is out at 7.45am with 2009 Open champion Shane Lowry, and fellow hurlers Cian Lynch from Limerick and Galway’s Joe Canning.

Wexford manager Davy Fitzgerald joins Brian McFadden, Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Welsh professional Jamie Donaldson at the same time.

Rugby greats Paul O’Connell, Keith Wood and Shane Byrne play in the 1.30pm session with England’s Andrew Johnston.
