Teams Uncertain Heading Into Round 1 Of Football Championpship

The manager of Clondegad GAA says there’s no form to look at ahead of their first game back heading into Round 1 of the Clare Senior Football Championship.

One of the standout games of the weekend comes on Sunday as Clondegad take on Kilmihil at Cusack Park at 1pm.

Flan Enright says that all teams are heading in with a degree of uncertainty, have no previous games to look back on recently.

Another exciting game comes as Cratloe face Lissycasey on Saturday at 4pm in Cusack Park.

Cratloe Boss Colm Collins says his team will have their work cut out for them heading into the match.

Other matches over the weekend include Kilmurry Ibrickane against St Joseph’s Miltown Malbay and Éire Óg versus Kilrush Shamrocks, both on Saturday.

While on Sunday Ennistymon play Doonbeg and Cooraclare take on St Breckan’s.
