Katie Taylor's defence of her gold medal has ended in the opening bout of the women's lightweight competition.

She was beaten on a split decision by Finland's Mira Potkonen in Rio.
London gold medallist Taylor was ahead after the first round but Potkonen took the second.
Taylor put in an excellent display in the third round but still trailed according to two judges and went down by split decision.
