Peter Taylor says they have been preparing for Katie’s opponent in tonight’s final since before the Olympics.

Taylor fights for gold against Russia’s Sofya Ochigava today at 4.45 knowing she has guaranteed at least at silver medal; Ochigava beat the Bray woman when they met two year ago however Taylor has won their last two meetings at the World and European championships.
Last night Paddy Barnes secured his second Olympic medal and Belfast lightweight meets Zou Shiming of China in the semi final tomorrow at lunchtime.
John Joe Nevin and Michael Conlan are also in semi final action tomorrow.
