Talty Anxious Clare Ladies May Be Caught Cold If Season Starts With Championship

Clare’s ladies football boss says he’s cautious about the prospect of his side being ‘caught cold’ if their season begins without a run in to the All Ireland series.

The government’s slight easing of COVID-19 restrictions may mean intercounty teams are permitted to train from April 5th, and league action may be played off towards the end of next month and into May.

Clare’s status is the only Intermediate team in Munster means they’re relying on the league being played to get minutes into the legs before the championship season begins.
