Sycerika McMahon and Fiona Doyle have both missed out on semi final spots in their respective events at the World Championships in Barcelona.
Mc Mahon, whose mother hails from Lissycasey, won her 100 metres free style heat in a new Irish record time of 56.19 while Doyle was 20th overall in the heats of the 200 metres breaststroke.
