Clare are through to the last 12 of the All Ireland Football Championship, after a superb second half performance saw them to a 2-17 to 1-13 victory over Sligo in Markievicz Park .
The Banner started the game slowly, with Sligo racing into an early four points to one lead after 15 minutes.
However, David Tubridy slotted a 25th minute penalty, to bring his side back to within a point, at 7 points to 1-3.
Sligo tagged on two more points before the break make it 9 points to 1-4 at half time.
Clare came out with the bit between their teeth in the second half and string of points saw them hit the front on 46 minutes, again through Tubridy.
The Banner never looked back after that and a powerful second half display including a second goal, this time from Gary Brennan, led Clare to a convincing 2-17 to 1-13 win.
