In rugby it’s been a good day for Clonlara’s Marcus Horan

The prop has come through 63 minutes for the Ireland A side in their clash with the England Saxons at Bath this afternoon, giving him some much needed match practice following his lay-off through illness.

Horan will be hoping that today’s performance should put him in contention for a starting spot in the ireland pack for next Saturday’s Six Nations Opener with italy.

The English Saxons won today’s game in a final scoreline of 17-13.
