Quilty teenager Keelan Sexton claimed gold at the weekend in the Odevilas Multi-nations Box Cup in Portugal.
Sexton also captained the Clare minor footballers in 2015 along with making appearances for the senior side.
The victory in what his international debut, assured the Irish squad of top spot in the tournament.
