There's been plenty good news at the Irish Open Swimming Championships for Clare competitors.

Ennis swimmer Rory McEvoy qualified for the World Junior Swimming Championships, finishing under the qualifying time in the 200 metre backstroke event.
He now heads for Singapore in August
There was also success for Killaloe man Jonathan McGrath in the 400m Freestyle Paralympic Final.
He put in a lifetime best performance in a time of 4.51.09 to book his spot at the IPC World Championships in Glasgow in July.
