Dublin will play Kerry in this year’s Allianz Football League Division 1 final.

A 70th minute goal by Jack McCaffrey gave the Dubs a late victory over Monaghan in Clones, winning out by 2-15 to 1-15.

Monaghan had looked like they would be the first team to beat Dublin in league or championship for over 2 years before the late surge.

They’ll now play Kerry in the final after they were 1-21 to 2-11 winners at home to Tyrone.

Kerry have Mayo to thank for their place in the top 2, after the Connacht side enjoyed a comeback win over Donegal by 1-12 to 0-13.

Meanwhile Cavan have been relegated after they failed to beat Roscommon, losing by 1-13 to 1-10.

The Division 2 results are available here in our Clare v Meath match report, though Galway’s win over Kildare means both of those counties are relegated.

In Division 3, Tipperary have sealed promotion in the most dramatic fashion possible.

A 75th minute goal by Michael Quinlivan gave the Premier County the win over Armagh by 3-8 to 0-16.

The Ulster side therefore miss out on promotion despite leading for the vast majority of the game.

Laois have been relegated to Division 4 after a dramatic 3-15 to 4-11 loss to Offaly.

Antrim are also relegated after they could only draw at home to Longford – the full-time score Antrim 1-13 Longford 0-16.

Elsewhere the already promoted Louth lost to Sligo by 1-11 to 0-17.

Westmeath and Wexford has already secured promotion in Division 4.
