Éire Óg have started their Munster campaign with a five point win over Limerick champions Adare.
The visitors made a quick start and lead by two at half time with Éire Óg only managing two points in the opening half.

Fortunes turned around in the second half, Ikem Ugwereu both scored and set up a goal for the townies, and after supplying Ciaran Russell for the second goal Éire Óg led by three points.
Mark McInerney tallied five points, Darren O Neill added another two while Gavin Murray capped off the scoring as Paul Madden’s side booked their semi final spot against Loughmore Castleiney on a score of 2-8 to 0-9.
