Sixmilebridge manager Sean Stack says their derby showdown with Newmarket is an opening game for the senior hurling championship that will grab everyone’s attention.
The former All Star is back in charge of his native club this season, having previously won the championship as player/manager in the mid 1980’s.
Stack, who is the holder of seven county titles with the Bridge, will be able to call on the services of county stars Cathal Malone and Shane Golden for Saturday’s game.
