Stack Hails Cork Loss A Positive

As Preparations for the All Ireland Hurling Final enter their final week, Former Clare All Star Sean Stack believes it’s a help to Davy Fitzgerald’s side that Cork have beaten them already this year.

The sides met back in June in the Munster Semi Final, in what was their fourth meeting of 2013.

Clare won their Waterford Crystal clash and both of the league encounters, including the relegation play-off that condemned Cork to Division 1B hurling next year, but the rebels got the bragging rights in their first championship clash and progressed to a Munster final.

Next Sunday the sides meet for the fifth time this year, but for one that really matters, the All Ireland title.

Sixmilebridge clubman Sean Stack, who is honoured next Sunday on a "Stars from the 80’s" team, says the revenge factor is a big one for the banner men.
