St. Patrick’s Day GAA Action

Clonlara have won through to the last four of the Clare Under-21 Hurling Championship, after an extra-time win over Newmarket on Fergus.

A late Newmarket fightback saw the sides go into the extra periods of play – the score stood 2-13 to 3-10 after regular time – but Clonlara were superior in extra-time and won 2-20 to 3-14.

In the B Championship, Crusheen/Tubber beat O'Callaghans Mills 2-13 to 3-09.

Later, in football, Cooraclare host Liscannor in their postponed Garry Cup meeting from 6 o'clock while Clare's Minor Camogie side are in Munster Championship action against Cork.  Throw-in in Clonlara is at 2:30.
