Reigning county champions St Joseph’s Milltown Malbay face Cooraclare tonight for a place the preliminary quarter finals of the Clare Senior Football Championship.
Maurice Reidy’s side come into the game with their hopes of securing a third title in a row still alive, having seen off Doonbeg in the second round.
Cooraclare, meanwhile, put a first round loss to St Breckans behind them with an extra time victory over Kilrush Shamrocks last time out.
Throw in, in Kilmihil this evening, is at 7pm.
The winners of the game will tog out again on Sunday against the winners of tomorrow’s game between Cratloe and Clondegad for a place in the last four.
Clare FM football analyst Joe Garry says while Cooraclare will be underdogs tonight, they’re in good shape ahead of the game.
