St Flannans have got their defence of the Dean Ryan Cup underway to a successful start this afternoon.
The Ennis school beat CBC Cork by 1-22 to 0-16 points in Ballyagran this afternoon.

It had been a comfortable afternoon for Flannans, who hit their first 1-12 without reply.
However, an improved display from the Cork side in the second half still saw them get no closer than eight points away from the defending champions.
