St Breckans Beat Champions In One Of Four Cusack Cup Games Today

There was four Cusack Cup games up for decision today.

The first of those was a lunchtime encounter between Champions Kilmurry Ibrickane and St Breckan’s, who were hoping to ease relegation fears with a victory in Quilty.

They did just that after a 4-12 to 1-12 win over the Champs, who are already guaranteed at least a semi-final spot.

The next game was a 3.45 meeting of St Joseph’s Miltown and Clondegad which went the way of Miltown, 2-19 to 1-7.

 

Elsewhere, Cooraclare and O’Curry’s were also in action. Cooraclare held the upper hand for the duration of the game and won that one 2-12 to 1-7.

In the final game, three goals helped Lissycasey to victory when they met Doonbeg in Ballynacally.

That one finished up 3-10 to 1-10.
