Senior sources at Manchester United have denied that Louis Van Gaal offered to quit following Saturdays defeat to Southampton.

Some publications say Van Gaal offered to walk away however the Telegraph newspaper report that executive vice chairman Ed Woodward wants him to stay until the end of the season.
Regardless of whether the Manager did or did not offer to walk away it's believed he will hold talks with Woodward today and the possibility of him leaving has not been ruled out.
