Clare manager Ger O’Loughlin has urged his players to qualify for the league final with a game to spare when they take on Laois this Saturday in Portlaoise.
Clare go into their penultimate game of the campaign needing to claim just two more points to secure their place in the division two decider against Limerick.
Saturday’s hosts lost to Down last weekend which effectively ended their hopes of promotion but O’Loughlin feels it hasn’t changed their mindset of neding to win to ensure progress to the final.
