Sparrow holds off naming side till weekend

 

In hurling Clare boss Ger o’Loughlin will wait until this weekend before naming his team to take on Wexford in Sunday’s crucial National League clash.

With up to 5 county stars due to line out for their clubs in the Under-21 Championship this weekend, Sparrow has been forced to postpone the confirmation of his side until Saturday at least.

Presuming players like John Conlon come through their club outings, o’Loughlin will have almost a full squad to choose from.

However Gerry Quinn is definitely out.  The Corofin man he has again torn his hamstring and is expected to be on the sidelines for the next month.
