Spanish point golf Club have been re-instated to the Pierce Purcell shield following a meeting with the Munster branch of the GUI on Friday
The West clare club were disqualified from the competion last Monday,just a day after qualifying for the North Munster final.
The decison was made by the GUI due to an alleged breach of rule 23, which relates to the amount of qualifying events a player must have completed to participate in the Pierce Purcell competition.
Following a meeting in Mallow the club have been informed that they had not broken any rules and they will now play Charleville on the 13th of June in Shannon
