The 121st staging of the South of Ireland championship is underway at Lahinch Golf club this morning.
150 competitors will take to the course at the North Clare venue, with three local members among them.

Stephen Loftus is already underway for his opening round having gone out with the first group at 7am
John Dillon is due to tee off at 10.50am, while Jonathan Keane will begin his first round at 3pm
