Clare Trophies Are Still Our Priority – Murphy

Newmarket Celtic’s A manager insists domestic trophies are still their priority as they defend their Clare Cup title this evening.

The club have been famous for their FAI and Munster Junior Cup exploits and were denied in the latter stages of two provincial tournaments by penalty shoot-outs in the last month.

But after successfully retaining the league, they’ll seek a second trophy against their B squad at Frank Healy Park.

Liam Murphy says they’ve had a good year regardless of what happens.

Kick-off at Frank Healy Park this evening is 7.30pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM.
