Sixmilebridge And O’Callaghans Mills Unsuccessful In Munster Council Appeals Over Rule 6.21

The line up for the quarter-finals of the TUS Clare Senior Hurling championship remains unchanged following an appeals process in recent days.

Sixmilebridge and O’Callaghans Mills both brought cases to the Munster Council in relation to their finishing position in the final standings of the round robin series, but both were unsuccessful last evening.

It means under rule 6.21, Crusheen take the quarter-final spot, with Sixmilebridge in the Senior B series and O’Callaghans Mills in the relegation battle.

Both clubs have the option of taking their cases to the Disputes Resolution Authority, with the quarter-final draw currently scheduled to be held on Monday next.
