There were two goals apiece when Clooney/Quin met Kilmaley in Newmarket – but it was Clooney/Quins fourteen points to seven which game them the win.
And in Clooney, Newmarket took a comfortable win over Kilkishen/Bodyke – the blues scoring 1-18 to 1-03.
