The captain will return home with the Six Nations trophy this afternoon, after a dramatic and nail-biting final round of fixtures.

The World Cup is still to come in the autumn, but O'Connell isn't sure if yesterday's win over Scotland was his last Six Nations game.

The squad will arrive into terminal one of Dublin airport at around 3.30 this afternoon.

There's no rest for Irish nerves or calculators today.

Ireland's women need to beat Scotland by 27-points in Broadwood to win a second Six Nations championship in three years.

That game kicks off at 1.
