Liverpool’s perfect start in this season’s Premier League is over, but they’ve returned to the top of the table after a 2-all draw at Swansea last night.
Former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvy was at the centre of all 4 goals.
He put the Welsh side ahead himself in the second minute, before his sloppy back pass moments later allowed Daniel Sturridge to equalise. It was the striker’s 4th goal in as many league matches.
Shelvy hit another pass astray to tee up Reds debutant Victor Moses to put them ahead, before his header set up Michu to earn a point for Swansea.
Tonight the Champions League group stages get underway, with both Manchester clubs in action.
United host Bayer Leverkusen at Old Trafford, while City are in the Czech Republic to take on Viktoria Plzen. Both games kick off at 7:45pm.
